Great Wall of China Amazing Facts
Did you know that, it’s said to be the only man-made structure to be seen from space? But it isn’t true. Even from lower earth orbit. You won’t able to see it. But it doesn’t mean that it isn’t a remarkable structure. It is 2500 years old built by the Chinese emperor to protect their land from the invaders. But building a wall turned out to be a flop idea. The invaders have broken through this wall many times. The great wall is not a single straight line the wall, rather it is a series of walls, parallel to each other, there are wide gaps between the walls in some places. But the total length of the entire Great Wall of China by adding all the walls is 21196 kilometres. Equal to half of Earth’s radius. The wall is not even built from a single material. In some places, bricks were used, in others, granite, marble blocks, or even wood some places. In fact, in some places, sticky rice is mixed with tomato. Rice also was used to build the great wall.
