How to Find and Follow Up Solutions in Conflict
Where there are conflicts, there are solutions.
Conflict is a problem in all workplaces. When you run a company, it is important to be aware of any hostility in the work environment. Because when there is a conflict, the company’s productivity decreases, and everyone suffers. When you know that a dispute exists, you should meet with both parties, discuss issues and find workable solutions to the problems, with an agreement that both parties agree that these solutions I will participate. A few days or even weeks later, arrange a follow-up meeting to find out how things are going with both sides.
Here are some steps you can follow:
Step 1
Arrange a meeting with both parties. The atmosphere you choose for the meeting should be calm and free from distractions such as music, television, and other unrelated co-workers.
Step 2
Make a positive note after talking to all parties. Write down points that can be useful in resolving a conflict, and it requires that all parties agree on these points.
Step 3
Talk to both parties further and ask each of them what they have done to resolve the dispute.
