Have you ever heard of a bird that can fly for 10 months without landing? Well, meet the Common Swift, also known as Ababeel, a small bird with an incredible ability to stay in the air for an extended period of time.

These birds spend most of their lives in the air, only landing to nest and breed. The Common Swift has been known to fly non-stop for up to 10 months, only returning to the ground to breed during the summer months.

Physical Characteristics

The Common Swift is a small bird, with a length of approximately 16 cm and a wingspan of around 40 cm. They have a distinctive silhouette, with a short, forked tail and long, narrow wings that give them an unmistakable appearance in the sky.
